the best by farWe have owned dogs for 45 yrs and often struggled to find suitable accomodation for our dogs.The grove meets all our expectations and more.our greyhounds need constant appraisal to judge their temperature as with little body fat they do not cope well with heat or cold.Grove kennels provide every comfort and amenity combinded with attentive staff who went to great lenghts to record our dogs every need including likes,dislikes and funny little ways. the accomodaion is stunning,more like an hotel for humans.The dogs stay in rooms rather than kennels.This is a quality holiday with quality food.Our pets were pleased to see us on our return but not frantic to escape from their holiday home.we were surprised and thrilled to be given mounted photographs of the dogs taken whilst on their holiday. the charges are more than reasonable cosidering what is offered.We shall recommend The Grove to everyone.The only problem we can anticipate is that we will need to book well in advance to be sure of a room being available.Well done Lindsay and Rob and thank you for giving us peace of mindby Jenny Booth, Staffordshire |

First time visitersDexter and Cuddy are both young Beagles. they are not used to staying at Kennels having been put off by the ones we have visited before. Both Lyndsay and Rob however made them both very welcome and took the time to show us all around the place taking time to get to know the dogs and become acquainted. FantasticArchie is our fur baby,and a very important part of our family,and i was apprehensive about leaving him for a night at The Grove Hotel.I should not have worried,Lindsay and Rob are so attentive,Archie had company throughout the day,and even ate his food which is such a huge worry for me, he was walked often and even brushed (his favorite)I can honestly say with hand on heart this will from now on be Archies second home.See for yourself if you have resevations about leaving your beloved fur babies.by Louise Haslam, None |

Ozzy's Luxury Holiday!!Our 14 month old Springer spaniel Ozzy stayed at the Grove Luxury Dog Hotel for two weeks last month. Lindsay and Rob did everything they could to make sure Ozzy settled into his new home quickly and calmly, we left feeling relieved and relaxed to have found them and rather envious of his 5* accommodation. Ozzy was on medication at the beginning of his stay but this was no problem, they made sure all his individual needs were noted down and taken care of as well as giving him lots of one on one attention, exercise and play time. Lindsay and Rob provide an excellent professional service. We have no hesitation in recommending the Grove Hotel to any owner needing to leave their dog in kennels. Our two Jack Russell's Tilly and Lucy had never been in kennels before. As Tilly was a rescue dog we were especially nervous about putting her in kennels.
We need not have worried. Rob and Lindsay showed us around all their excellent facilities a few weeks before the stay and we were impressed with their enthusiasm and friendly welcome.
The accommodation is very spacious, clean and tidy and both dogs received plenty of attention and benefitted from long walks and time out in both the enclosed and open areas.
When we picked them up after a two night stay, both dogs were in good spirits, looked refreshed from their stay and in no way anxious about the separation,
We will definitely use the Grove when we need kennels again. We live an hour and a half mile's drive away fron the Grove, but the effort is well worthwhile for the peace of mind that our two are happy and in caring hands while we are away. by Rob Tuson, Cheshire |

Alfie & Enzo's Home From Home!Alfie and Enzo have just returned from their third stay at The Grove - and well what can I say!! They jumped out of the back of the car and ran straight to "their room" with tails wagging!!!The Grove truly is a first class establishment! The level of the accommodation and furnishings is better than some "human hotels" Rob and Lyndsey are fantastic with the dogs - I was completely reassured that Alfie & Enzo were being looked after by people who really care about animals.
We have no concerns about using The Grove again, and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone else!!

Frankie Says Relax at the Grove Luxury Dog HotelRob and Lindsay were very welcoming and professional and we felt completely at ease leaving Frankie in their care, despite it being his first night away from us. The outside space is fantastic and the dogs' rooms are very spacious with the attention to detail, like folded towels and dog treats, making them truly special. Lucie's Stay 9th - 24th AugustLucie stayed for 16 days she was only 9 month old so it was hard to walk away, but I knew from the way the staff spoke about her that she would be very well looked after and loved as much as she is at home.The staff gave her 110% love and care, they made it a holiday for her and she was happy and content. Nothing seems to much trouble for them. for example Lucie had become off her food before she went in they sat with her to encourage her to eat some food, and it paid off. They took time when we arrive to disucss all her needs. I was more worried that she would not want to come home after all the attention she was given. I would not hesitate to leave her again.
Once again thank you so much for looking after her so well.

Max and PaddyBrilliant kennels! Max and Paddy were the first dogs to stay in these kennels and had a wonderful stay. We went on holiday to a five star hotel and my dogs also stayed in five star accomodation. The attention and care they were given was second to none. They spent a lot of time outdoors and were free to roam in a fully enclosed area at their leasure. My mind was at ease knowing they were being so well cared for and they came home happy and fit. Pure Luxury for DogsMy two little girls, Bella and Molly, stayed for the weekend and had a fabulous time. I've never been able to walk away from doggy accommodation before with the peace of mind that my two would be loved as much as they are at home.The staff are so interested in the dogs which I have never experienced before. The accommodation is to die for - when can I come and stay.
Every need is catered for, an example of this is when Bella was jumping up trying to look out of the window in her playroom and we were told that the sofa would be moved to allow her to have her favourite viewing spot! What more could you ask for??
I now can't wait to go away again and I know that I could be away for more than the weekend as the girls are going to be happy.
A big thank you to the team at 'The Grove' for taking such good care of my girls.
